We advise and represent a variety of participants in the industry and our clients include owners, managers, agents, underwriters, P&I clubs, brokers, builders, yards and marinas. We are experienced in advising on matters ranging from superyachts, grand-prix racing yachts and private pleasure crafts and has a wealth of experience advising on yachting and maritime matters. We have extensive sailing and sea experience and an in-depth commercial and practical knowledge of the industry. Support is provided by our commercial, employment and ship finance groups.

Pantelis Kokkinakis

Pantelis completed his law studies in 1988 and went on to obtain a Master Degree in Yacht & Maritime Law at the University of Southampton in 1994-1995. Prior, Pantelis established what is now known KOKKINAKIS LAW practicing in shipping, insurance and commodities.
He has many years’ experience of providing legal services to small & large yacht owners and their managers. Combining his experience and as a specialist maritime lawyer with his in-depth knowledge of the superyacht industry, he has provided legal advice and services in most areas of yacht ownership, management and insurance. He advocates the use of plain English in contracts and is a member of Athens Bar Association.
Pantelis advises clients on, ownership structures and corporate affairs, yacht management: legal advice, contract negotiating and drafting, crew employment and MLC compliance, yacht sale and purchase, related financing and yacht construction projects.
A specialized shipping litigation lawyer although he also has, substantial experience in the yacht and superyacht industry. He has established numerous good personal contacts with maritime lawyers in many different countries across the world and advice from and actions by them can be readily coordinated on behalf of the client.
